Sit-In in the morning - riot at noon

About 15.000 people demonstrated in Strasbourg/France (about 7.000 in Kehl/Germany) against the Nato Summit. In the early morning (04.April) several hundred activists of a non-violent movement blocked some roads to the red zone, which was etablished in town to protect the conference centre. During the whole day police and protesters clashes in the outskirts. Barricades were erected. A Ibis Hotel, a former border guard office and a drugstore were burnt by protesters. A gas station was looted. Several people got injured by stones, stun granates and tear gas.
